Over the past few years, I’ve noticed a significant alignment between business and technology, both increasingly focusing on the needs of everyday people like parents and individuals who stand to benefit from innovation. Trends like Web 2.0 and pervasive computing mark just the beginning of a transformation that will revolutionize how we access knowledge.
My journey in this field began in the late 1980s within academic and research environments. I’ve always sought to blend strategies, market analysis, and business development to create value and marketing advantages through technology, all while keeping the human element at the forefront.
Throughout my career, I’ve been fortunate to be involved in founding various organizations including Make it Local, i2u, Assinform, Uniforum, OMG, and IEEE, all emphasizing collaborative efforts. I’ve also played key roles in launching new ventures, such as Human Interaction in 1996, many of which continue to thrive today.
Some of my recent creations:
- Mobile-Ecosystem, providing insights into the mobile space,
- The Best Advice, a platform for knowledge sharing, and
- BizDev & Strategy, a consultancy leveraging technology to enhance business efficiency and reduce costs. Additionally, I’ve been involved in initiatives like
- The Italian Fintech Association & Research.
I’m actively engaged in academia and conferences, contributing articles on topics such as new media utilization, value chain in business, and human interaction. I excel in organizing diverse teams across borders and have collaborated with United Nations institutions to enhance the quality of life worldwide.
With nearly three decades of experience in sales, strategic planning, and business development in the global Information and Communication Technology sector, I’m known for my visionary leadership. I advise investors and multinational corporations seeking to enter new markets in Europe, the USA, and Africa, often in collaboration with the UN to support developing nations.
My expertise spans various projects in IT and telecommunications since the early 1980s, and I’m a respected columnist and educator at universities. My core competencies include developing comprehensive business plans, driving market growth, inspiring teams, challenging norms, and fostering innovation. I also have had a keen interest in evaluating business models for mobile advertising, mobile commerce, and implementing NFC projects across Europe.
